PowerISO is a truly powerful and feature-rich disc image processing utility. It can perform a large variety of tasks and actions with any kind of disc image. It supports the images of CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs (BD) alike, regardless of their formats: ISO, BIN, NRG, CDI, DAA, etc.

The comprehensiveness of this tool is its most important advantage and is really impressive. Though it sports a rather simple interface and doesn't make use of any important amount of system resources, it can open, extract, burn, create, edit, compress, encrypt, split, and convert images files, or even mount them to virtual drives. Every supported operation can be performed in a really simple, easy, and quick manner. For example, extracting the files from a disc image can be performed with just one single mouse click.

This powerful tool also comes with handy burning features that enable you to create discs of various types: Audio CD, Data CD, Data DVD, Video DVD, etc.

PowerISO can be integrated with the Windows Explorer shell for easier access and it can also create bootable discs or even bootable USB drives. As you can see, it is truly powerful and comes packed with a lot of features and functions. Anyway, this doesn't mean that using it will be a headache or that its price will give you nightmares. It’s also easy-to-use and affordable. Simply put, it has all the right qualities and I also recommend it with all my heart.
